Nordic Morning Sweden recruits Managing Director from Acando

Märit Sareyko has extensive experience from retail and finance, always with a base in IT. Among other things, she has been the head of Acando's strategy and transformation business and led the work for Acando's largest clients. Prior to that she was CIO for the Stora Enso division Printing & Living and CEO of the management and IT consulting company Avega. She now brings her experience of transformation of large companies with IT as a tool to Nordic Morning.

“Digitalization brings people closer to each other than ever before. Brands have never been able to interact as much with their customers as they are now, and it has never been so easy for customers to have an opinion – positive or negative.

IT and technology are large and complex parts of digitalization, but the customer's experience of the brand is crucial for achieving the digital growth every company is striving for. It is precisely at that intersection that I see that Nordic Morning has a holistic view and the edge in both strategy and tactical execution that I have been looking for” - Märit Sareyko.

Nordic Morning Sweden has about 240 employees providing consulting, data analysis, MarTech, service design and data-driven marketing, among other things. Among its clients are the Swedish National Tax Board, Arvato, ICA, Visma and L’Oréal Paris.

"Märit has genuine and deep experience of our customers’ reality. She is an impressive person with an impressive expertise, no doubt a great added value for us and for all our clients", says Anne Årneby, President and CEO of Nordic Morning Group.

“Nordic Morning Group's change journey has been extensive over the past two years, and we are now so well positioned that our owner recently placed us in Vake, the development company that brings together the most promising high-tech companies in Finland. It says something about the journey where we’ve gone from a rough diamond to be ranked as a technological future company. A transformation that I am very proud of and which we are now going to write the next chapter in", says Anne Årneby.

Märit Sareyko takes office on Thursday, February 7, 2019.
